BRUSSELS, 25 June 2026 (MICE INSIGHTS) – On the morning of March 15, the Belgian group adventure began with a smooth funicular ascent from St. Moritz up to the slopes of Corviglia. To ensure every attendee felt comfortable, the program split the group by activity preference and experience level. 

🥾 While the non-skiers embarked on a 90-minute scenic winter hike toward Chesa Marguns, the skiers headed over to Skiservice Corvatsch for premium equipment rentals. To accommodate the different skill levels within the delegation, the group was divided into beginner and advanced ski groups.

⛷️ The beginners were guided by professional, certified instructors from local ski school PassionSki —including Mirjam Steiner, who explained to the novice group how to feel the ground under their feet and read the lines of the mountain.

The dual-track itinerary proved that alpine team-building can be inclusive and engaging for a corporate group, regardless of their experience on the snow.

The hidden charm of Chesa Marguns

Set in the mountain landscape, Chesa Marguns provided the group with an inspiring class in architectural transformation. Once a chairlift station used purely for transit, this two-story building has been reimagined as a rustic-chic venue. Ideal for corporate buyouts, VIP celebrations, or brainstorming sessions, the property surprised the Belgian planners with its cosy fireplace lounge and a panoramic veranda looking out over the Marguns valley.

Sophisticated dining at the White Marmot

The alpine segment reached its culinary peak at the White Marmot, a hip, design-forward restaurant situated at an impressive 2,486 metres above sea level. Combining a cool, contemporary aesthetic with world-class snow sports culture, the venue served the Belgian delegation creative haute cuisine overlooking beautiful mountain views.

A scenic ascent on the Bernina Express

The adventure continued with an extraordinary journey along the world-famous Bernina Express route, taking the delegation straight to the Diavolezza valley station. From there, the group boarded the cable car for a breathtaking ascent to nearly 3,000 metres above sea level. Stepping out at the top, the planners were immersed in a glacier environment where day trippers, hikers, and snow sports enthusiasts converge. The legendary peaks of Piz Palü and Piz Bernina dominated the skyline.

Glacier views and high-alpine insights

At 11:00, the group gathered at the Berghaus Diavolezza for a dedicated corporate presentation with Market Manager Andrea Rominger. She detailed the vast event locations and year-round incentive activities available across both Mount Corvatsch and Mount Diavolezza.

Following the briefing, the delegation enjoyed a premium lunch where the mountain scenery felt close enough to touch. Whether looking through the massive panoramic windows inside or standing out on the expansive sun terrace, the views of the glacial landscape left a lasting impression on the MICE planners.
